For The King

Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Psalm 19:4‭-‬6

There is a King who's rising
Has passed from East to West,
A bridegroom in his chambers
Striding forth to his conquest.
A strong man at the end
Of a race already won.
There is a King who's rising
Outshines the very Sun.

There is a King whose glory
Shines beyond the height of skies
Piercing deep within the crevice
Of a stoney mountain side.
A voice heard through the ages;
Evidenced in every tongue.
There is a King who's rising
Outruns the very Sun.

There is a King's rejoicing
From which none can fail to hear
As he circuits through the heavens—
Nothing hidden; nothing feared.
Like a lion, like an eagle—
These both shadows of the one.
There is a King whose heat
Burns the very Sun.

There is a King whose rising
Will be heard throughout earth
Making metal out of men—
Whether great or little worth.
Some will shine as Son's of glory
Set about to run their race,
While rejoicing in the story
Of a King who sets the pace.
